Ripple Money Transfers Surge in Europe

In European countries, the number of remittances involving the Ripple platform and the ODL (On-Demand Liquidity) payment system has increased dramatically. In Europe, this direction took the second place in the popularity of money transfers using this system.
The ODL system uses the XRP token as an intermediary in making requests for liquidity of fiduciary (fiat) money.
The growth in the number of these transfers was due to the large number of Twitter users who paid attention to this system. One of the visitors asked the CTO of the Ripple cryptocurrency platform, Mr. David Schwartz, about the increased popularity of ODL and what caused it.
He replied that he had not thought about the efficiency and liquidity of the corridors, but the parameters of the speed of work and the ability to use the system at any time convenient for them are important for clients.
The most popular ODL payment system at the moment is the corridor in Mexico. Back in 2019, the Ripple cryptocurrency platform launched it in conjunction with the Moneygram international money transfer system and the Bitso cryptocurrency exchange. At the moment, the volume of payments made has tripled.
The corridor in Australia, which works in conjunction with the cryptocurrency exchange BTC Markets, is growing by an average of five percent every week. This was announced by the head of the company Caroline Bowler.
However, in March 2020 in Mexico, one of the partners of the Ripple platform refused to use the ODL payment system.
