Crypto Briefing reported that the creators of Ethereum have agreed to activate the ProgPoW code. He is able to turn the extraction of coins on the ASIC mechanism to no avail. The innovation is expected to be released in July. The network will include the new digital capabilities available through the EIP-1962 update. Community members have long debated on the topic of ProgPoW. It is believed that this application can split the network. The program has created controversy between developers. Against ProgPoW were Martin Koppelmann and Amin Soleimani. In contrast, the developer James Hancock spoke out. He assures that the likelihood of network collapse is minimal. Optimistic, James says ProgPoW is ready to activate. Martin Svendé also supports this project. The developer of the Ethereum Foundation is convinced of the need to launch the proposal. Speaking about the product, Svend did not further argue. He emphasizes that words are superfluous and need to move on to action.

Canadian programmer Vitalik Buterin made an unexpected statement. He suggested that the Ethereum ecosystem could fully function and develop without its intervention.
